Jeff’s Bagel Run

We recently visited Jeff’s Bagel Run in Wake Forest for the first time. The shop is situated in a small plaza near downtown Wake Forest, with a noticeable regular crowd.

Inside, the space was clean and modern, with an efficient ordering system and friendly staff. The menu includes a variety of hand-rolled, boiled, and baked bagels, along with several cream cheese options and coffee drinks.

Jeff’s Bagel Run doesn’t offer toasted bagels, because the “Focus on cooking fresh bagels all day.” Trust me, you’ll prefer their fresh-out-of-the-oven bagel to a reheated bagel any day.

Our spread (pun intended) included:

  • 1 Jalapeno Cheddar bagel with Original Cream Cheese

  • 1 Asiago bagel with Original Cream Cheese

  • 1 Iced Mocha coffee

Both bagels had a crisp outer texture and chewy interior. The cream cheese was well-balanced, fresh, and had a creamy consistency. The coffee was standard but well-prepared.

There is some outdoor seating available, including chairs and small tables. The environment was casual and family-friendly, with many locals stopping by for breakfast or takeout.

Overall, Jeff’s Bagel Run is a must-visit. We ordered some extra bagels and a cream cheese flight (3 different cream cheese cups) to go for breakfast the next morning, along with a half-dozen assorted bagels to try.
